i'm on my work computer because i was using this nice, quiet saturday night to catch up on work stuff. but then i went into my "random" folder on my desktop (looking for last year's performance objectives so I could copy and paste for this year SHH) and got distracted with the 80 abby pictures i have in there (that i probably shouldn't have in there SHH)
here are some outtakes from when the kidlet and i were going to represent my company for our Working Mother award in Working Mother magazine (hey it pays to work with the media folks. ...except it doesn't 'cause we got our pictures in too late and missed the magazine deadline. hence you never heard about it here. or maybe you did. i can't remember.)
she's hard at work on her keyboard that connects to nothing
then here's the first one i ever took of her with my old phone. (except it's really the third cause i didn't like the first two. yes I am that vain according to my coworker!) exactly an hour old. she still makes that face. this was just before my world got rocked. funny... i didn't like the first two because i thought she looked asian. (not that I don't like asian people - just that matty and i don't have a bit of asian in us) i literally convinced myself that that must be what all 60-minute old babies look like cause in all honesty, i'd never seen a baby this new before. it took me a long time (mostly because i didn't really think about it) before i made the connection that her "asian" eyes were actually down syndrome.
then here's a super smiley tiny tot i used to know
ok back to work.
